Why see Chicago - The Band & Earth, Wind & Fire?

heart and soul 2024 tour

Between them, they have more smash hit singles, certified platinum records, and industry awards than you can shake a stick at. Rock'n'roll fusion legends Chicago join forces with R&B and funk juggernauts Earth, Wind and Fire to co-headline the 2024 'Heart & Soul'. Don't miss your chance to watch these powerhouses come together on stage for an explosive night!

Described as "rock'n'roll with horns", Chicago topped the charts throughout the 70's and 80's with their jazz-tinged soft rock balladry, spawning the memorable singles 'If You Leave Me Now' and 'Hard to Say I'm Sorry'. Earth, Wind and Fire, known for their dynamic and outrageously tight horn sound, birthed their smooth psychedelic-tinged soul in the same era and have been riding the waves of success ever since.

One of the best concerts ever!

Last night's concert was AMAZING! We had SO much fun! Must admit though, that after Chicago performed I didn't know how Earth Wind & Fire could compare, but OMG did they ever! So much talent and energy was displayed by both legendary bands! And when you both played together! OMG again! The best ever! - Thank you SO much for a wonderful evening filled with great music, great visuals, and great memories. Please come back to Cincinnati next year. We will be there! ... Read more

70’s Icons

Last evening, I went to the Allstate Arena to see earth, wind, and fire, and the band Chicago. Overall, it was a fantastic show. The bands were both wonderful. It does seem that they switched the opening act which was billed as Chicago, With the main act which was billed as earth, wind, and fire. It said that they were starting at 7:30, And perhaps they did but due to parking taking longer than expected we didn’t get in to the venue until 7:45, at which time they were already playing. To me, it doesn’t really matter who was billed first, as they are both wonderful bands, and deserve to be equal on the bill. The main Takeaway for me was how great they both still sound. I was in my 20s in the 70s, and I can say I didn’t realize how much these bands represent the old cliché, “ The soundtrack of my life”. The best thing about it is how these two bands are still at the top of their game! I would recommend anyone going to see them well worth it ... Read more

Performance Awesome

5 Stars for the performance of both bands. Not sure if it was the sound engineers or poor sound equipment, but there were times during both performance that the speakers seemed to rattle. This wasn't a first at Riverbend. Seems new sound equipment might make good performances great!! ... Read more
