An icon of early rock 'n roll, Checker is a performer who helped to leave lasting imprint on music and culture; his popularization of the Twist dance and 1960s hits including "Let's Twist Again" and his cover of Hank Ballard & The Midnighters' "The Twist" have proved to be lasting dancefloor sensations to this day.

Elsewhere on the line up, The Doo Wop Project comprises of a group of six talented singers and dancers who perform much-loved Doo-Wop and reimagine current pop hits as jazzy Doo Wop songs. The Duprees' hits such as "Have You Heard" and "You Belong to Me" saw them regularly leading the Billboard charts in the 1960s, while the smooth vocals of Vinnie Medugno, as seen on PBS, completes the stellar line up!
